2010 SEASON OUTLOOK
Codiroli is a significant addition to the Beach Bums 2010 outfield and lineup. He has put up fantastic numbers in his first two years of professional baseball. He can change the game with his legs both defensively and offensively, covering a lot of ground in the outfield and will always be a threat to steal a base. Codiroli has terrific plate discipline and has the ability to spray the ball all over the field. He is the type of player people will pay to watch play the game.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
The San Diego Padres selected Codiroli in the 20th round of the 2008 draft. He started his professional career with the Padres’ rookie level team, the Arizona League Padres. In 51 games, the San Jose, Calif. native hit .309 with a homerun and 14 RBI. The Padres moved Codiroli to the Eugene Emeralds, the team’s Northwest League affiliate, to start the 2009 season. The 5’10’’, 175-pound outfielder batted .290 in 59 games with four homeruns and 29 RBI. His 15 stolen bases led the team. Codiroli's success with the Emeralds earned him a promotion to the Triple-A Portland Beavers near the end of the 2009 season. Codiroli went 4-for-19 at the plate in six games for Portland with one double, one triple, two runs scored and three RBI.

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE
Codiroli played at West Valley College in Saratoga, Calif. before being drafted by the Padres. In 39 games with the Vikings in 2008, he hit .356 with 57 runs scored. He was 25-for-26 on stolen base attempts.
